Job Description: Supply Chain & Operations Co-op/Intern (Summer-Fall 2025)

This job description covers potential openings in various Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or Operations departments for the Summer-Fall 2025 co-op/internship session (May-December). Honda offers both single and multi-semester options. The specific department and project will depend on availability and the applicant’s major.

Potential Responsibilities (depending on placement):

Cost Planning: Creating cost management databases and analysis tools using Microsoft Excel and Access; preparing Request-for-Quotes (RFQs) for suppliers; analyzing quote accuracy; comparing costs to standards and targets.

Requirements:

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (sponsorship is not available).
• General business coursework.
• Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA (transcript required).
• Sophomore status (by credit hours) or above in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program.
• Major in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License (exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis).
• Ability to secure own transportation to and from work daily (public transportation and ride-sharing services may be limited). Regular in-person attendance is mandatory.
• Availability to work a minimum of 10 weeks at 40 hours per week.

Desired Qualifications: Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or Engineering coursework.

Locations:

Co-op/intern positions are available in: Marysville, Ohio; Anna, Ohio; Raymond, Ohio; East Liberty, Ohio; Russells Point, Ohio; Troy, Ohio; and Greensburg, Indiana. Location preferences will be considered during the selection process.
