Supply Chain Excellence Intern
Location: The Woodlands, Texas

About the Internship Program
Huntsman is actively seeking a Supply Chain Excellence Intern to join our team at our global headquarters in The Woodlands, TX. This internship opportunity is specifically designed for Summer 2026.
Our comprehensive summer intern program is tailored for individuals currently enrolled as full-time students at an accredited four-year college or university. The program typically runs from May to August, with exact dates dependent on the academic calendar. The primary goal of the Huntsman Intern Program is to provide a structured and enriching experience that equips interns with valuable skills and practical experience, preparing them for a successful career in their chosen field.
As a Supply Chain Excellence Intern, You Will:
- Support the team in providing timely, accurate, and insightful reporting and analysis.
- Provide assistance to the team in various projects and initiatives.
- Gain a deep understanding of Huntsman’s company operations and core values.
- Learn about the diverse functions and roles within a global corporation.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to accomplish function-specific tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Review month-end inventories in the America’s region to identify and investigate inventory discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory levels of key import materials and initiate replenishment requisitions in a timely manner to prevent stock-outs.
- Assist in record-keeping and management of non-SAP terminals (e.g., track shipments and inventory, ensure goods receipt and goods issues are completed, ensure all necessary documentation is completed).
- Assist in process improvement projects related to inventory management and export processes.
- Assist (as needed) with the management and resolution of complaints concerning third-party stock points.
- Support Supply Chain Analysts in their daily duties, including preparing supporting documents for product evolution, handling document requests, performing SAP data entry, and conducting inventory analysis.
Required Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a full-time college student at the Junior, Senior, or Master level by the end of Summer 2026.
- Must be currently enrolled at an accredited university seeking a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in one of the following fields:
- Supply Chain
- Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Supply Chain
- Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
Skills And Knowledge:
- Independent self-starter with a high level of confidence, energy, and a critical thinking mindset.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Excellent computer skills; especially proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of building dashboards in Power BI is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in Supply Chain.
