Tesla is looking for a highly skilled and motivated specialist to support their Supply Chain Organization group with a focus on supplier financial health management. This internship is with the Responsible Sourcing & Supplier Due Diligence Team, an internal supply chain optimization resource globally.
Job Description:
As a Supplier Financial Health Intern, your primary responsibility will be supporting the development of Tesla’s supplier financial health program. This requires building strong cross-functional working relationships with supply chain, finance, and legal teams. You’ll interact with procurement stakeholders, communicating goals, gathering feedback, and providing guidance. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with knowledge of financial analysis and risk mitigation practices, and can adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
What You’ll Do:
• Recommend supplier financial health risk mitigation best practices.
• Support development and documentation of risk mitigation plans.
• Conduct scenario analyses to identify financial health risks and trends.
• Initiate, track, and escalate completion of financial health assessments.
• Support interpretation of financial health assessment results.
• Provide training on the supplier financial health risk mitigation process.
• Lead development of program goals, guidelines, and processes.
What You’ll Bring:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience.
• Financial risk management experience in Automotive, consulting and/or tech industry.
• Ability to analyze financial statements to determine a company’s financial health.
• Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage deadlines.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Internship Details:
• Expected start date: August or September 2025
• Duration: Fall 2025 (ending approx. December 2025), potentially extending into Winter/Spring 2026.
• Minimum commitment: 12 weeks, full-time and on-site.
• Eligibility: Must be actively enrolled in an academic program.
