About the Role
The Summer Internships Field Supervisor facilitates and monitors day-to-day logistics for teen internship programs across select city regions. This temporary, part-time role involves conducting site visits, tracking attendance, submitting reports, and serving as the main contact for teens and their parents to ensure program success.

What You’ll Do
• Assist with orientation for Chicago Public Library interns and parents before the program start date
• Troubleshoot any problems or issues that arise during the program session
• Act as the main contact for teens and teens’ parents regarding programmatic and program award inquiries
• Assist Chicago Public Library staff and other CBOs with managing teen participants including tracking teen attendance in Cityspan
• Conduct regular program site visits at internship sites

You’re a Good Fit If You
• Have strong written and verbal communication between multiple stakeholders like teens, parents, ASM administration, and CPL staff
• Have prior experience working with teens in an informal or formal educational setting
• Are able to maintain confidential information and securely handle paperwork
• Have strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Possess a High School diploma or GED
• Are able to travel to sites

Bonus Qualifications
• Have geographic knowledge of City of Chicago area

Role Highlights & Compensation
• Temporary, part-time position
• June 22nd – Aug 7th, 2025
• 20 hrs/week for 8 weeks – schedule will vary depending on day
• Will be visiting multiple sites per day
• Pay: $20 / hour
