Position Summary: Summer Internship – R Programming & Data Visualization (Biometrics)
Rocket Pharmaceuticals is offering a paid 10-week summer internship for university students eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced biotechnology environment. This unique internship provides an invaluable opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals dedicated to advancing curative gene therapies for patients with devastating diseases.
As an intern within our Biometrics team, you will significantly contribute to R programming and data visualization initiatives. You will benefit from direct mentorship by the Head of Statistical Programming and work closely with Biostatisticians and Statistical Programmers. This exposure will provide crucial insights into Drug Development, Clinical Trials, and the intricate processes involved in analyzing clinical data for regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities:
• Develop R programs for Tables, Figures, and Listings (TFLs) to support robust exploratory analyses and generate publication-ready outputs.
• Support the creation of interactive data visualizations and dashboards, translating stakeholder requirements into impactful visual solutions.
• Translate complex analytical needs into effective programming solutions by collaborating closely with Biostatisticians, Statistical Programmers, and other cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:
• Advanced Master students majoring in Data Science, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or a similar quantitative discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience with R programming language is essential. Familiarity with additional programming languages such as SAS is a valuable asset.
• Demonstrated experience in developing interactive data visualizations and dashboards.
• Strong communication skills with the proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to meticulously follow instructions and work independently on assigned tasks.
