The Tone:
This is a temporary, full-time internship at Highgate Hotels, located in Philadelphia, PA. Highgate is a leading real estate investment and hospitality management company managing over 400 hotels globally. This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience across various departments within the hospitality industry. Interns will learn about hotel operations and contribute to the company’s commitment to excellence and guest experience at a reimagined historic property.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Human Resources: Assist with HR functions, contributing to staff support and compliance.
• Operations: Participate in daily hotel operations, helping ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction.
• Revenue Management: Support revenue management activities, learning strategies to optimize hotel performance.
• Marketing: Contribute to marketing initiatives, helping promote the hotel’s brand and offerings.
• Food & Beverage: Engage in F&B department tasks, gaining exposure to service and culinary operations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career; Bachelor’s degree, Graduate degree, or equivalent in Hotel Management or a related field.
• Experience: Active enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree program in Hotel Management or a related field.
• Skills: High level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, ability to multi-task, problem solving, proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
