PACCAR Parts specifically serves as the global provider of aftermarket parts and services, supporting 21 distribution centers and 2,300 dealerships worldwide. This internship offers aspiring accounting professionals the chance to learn directly from experienced experts, work with Senior Managers and Controllers, and gain practical hands-on experience across Cost Accounting, General Accounting, and Internal Control/Financial Analysis within a large, established organization.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare: Journal entries for various accounting functions.
• Complete: Reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Drive: Process improvement projects utilizing methodologies such as six sigma, lean, or robotic process automation.
• Support: General accounting functions for dealers and business operations.
• Conduct: Cost analysis for accounting purposes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in college pursuing a degree in Accounting.
• Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Skills: Strong computer aptitude, excellent verbal and written communication, analytical thinking, self-starting initiative, high sense of urgency.
• Bonus: Junior or senior standing preferred.
