This role is crucial for supporting client engagements and providing hands-on experience in public accounting, helping the firm deliver essential tax, audit, and advisory services.

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Part-time, Seasonal, Temporary (24 hours/week for 6 weeks)
• Location: In-person Alexandria, VA
• Team: Works within client service teams, reporting to a supervisor.
• Mission: Support client engagements and gain practical experience in public accounting services.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support Client Engagements: Contribute to hands-on client work and support various client engagements.
• Provide Services: Aid in the delivery of tax, audit, and advisory services for diverse clients.
• Receive Training: Participate in structured training designed to build foundational accounting skills.
• Engage with Mentors: Collaborate with experienced professionals and receive guidance from a dedicated mentor, peer buddy, and supervisor.
• Foster Development: Participate in regular check-ins to support ongoing learning and professional growth within the firm.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Students pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting. This is an Entry-Level internship.
• Experience: No specific years required; must be actively pursuing an accounting degree.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, analytical skills, organizational skills, a positive professional attitude, and a collaborative approach.
• Bonus: A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
