Job Title: Student/Intern/Trainee – Circuit Design & Test Support

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Circuit Design Support: Assist engineers in creating circuit boards, schematics, and application designs for semiconductor integrated circuits and devices.
- PCB Development: Develop and test application schematics and printed circuit boards.
- Testing and Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and test application boards for proper functionality.
- Test Reports: Write detailed test reports based on experiments and findings.
- Data Collection Automation: Support test automation programs, collect, extract, and analyze data related to circuit performance.
Required Qualifications
You are best equipped for this task if you are/have:
- Education: Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Relevant Coursework: Strong understanding of circuit theory, basic electronic designs, power electronics, device physics, and control systems.
- Programming Skills: Proficient in LabView, Python, or JavaScript for automation and testing purposes.
- PCB Knowledge: Familiarity with layout tools like Altium and practical knowledge of PCB development.
- Lab Equipment Experience: Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, and source meters.
- Software Knowledge: Understanding of MATLAB, PSPICE, and PLECS for simulation and analysis.
- Organizational & Communication Skills: Highly organized with strong communication and presentation skills.
Important Eligibility Requirement
US citizenship or green card holder: This position requires access to documentation that is controlled by the export laws of the United States. Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency, or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8USC 1324b(a)(3).
Compensation
The hourly wage range that Infineon expects to pay for a qualified candidate is between $19.00 per hour and $32.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate will depend on the highest level of education completed.
