• Team: Reports to a Manager or Supervisor within a sponsoring business unit/department.
• Mission: Supports the daily operations of a business unit or department by performing a variety of administrative, operational, and project-based tasks.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Provide administrative assistance, including data entry, document preparation, and scheduling.
• Organize: Maintain and organize both digital and physical filing systems for the department.
• Coordinate: Assist with event planning, logistics, and coordination for various corporate functions.
• Research: Conduct research and compile information necessary for departmental reports or special projects.
• Client Interaction: Greet and assist clients, answering their questions and providing necessary information.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Actively enrolled as a student in good standing in a two- or four-year degree program at an accredited college or university in Hawaii.
• Experience: One year of prior part-time work or volunteer experience, an internship, or academic experience such as school/student activities or leadership roles, tutoring, or mentoring.
• Skills: Proficiency with personal computers in a networked environment and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); strong communication and interpersonal skills; detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities; ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively; professional demeanor, dependability, punctuality, and self-motivation with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
