What You’ll Actually Do
• Mail Sorting: Sort all incoming and outgoing mail items accurately.
• Campus Delivery: Conduct campus-wide deliveries of mail to various departments and offices.
• Customer Service: Provide assistance to students, faculty, and staff regarding mailroom inquiries and services.
• Study Support: Utilize dedicated private areas and college-provided PCs during downtime to complete academic studies and homework.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Must be a currently enrolled student at Monroe Community College, maintaining satisfactory academic progress and good academic standing.
• Experience: Approved Federal Work Study (FWS) eligibility through the Financial Aid Office is required prior to hire.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills and basic PC proficiency.
• Bonus: Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish or other languages, along with the ability to effectively take direction.
