As a Structural Intern, you will have the unique opportunity to expand your structural engineering education through direct participation on project teams for diverse architectural projects, from commercial buildings to sports facilities and healthcare structures. This role is crucial for developing future talent within an organization that designs cost- and resource-efficient, forward-thinking solutions that actively support and shape communities worldwide.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Team Collaboration: Actively participate in project teams, contributing to structural engineering tasks for a variety of architectural projects.
• Commercial Project Involvement: Support the structural design and analysis efforts for large-scale commercial building projects.
• Specialized Project Support: Assist in the development and execution of structural solutions for complex sports and healthcare facilities.
• Public Assembly Structure Contribution: Engage in design activities for public assembly buildings, ensuring structural integrity and safety.
• Professional Skill Development: Enhance practical engineering knowledge and skills through direct engagement in the company’s in-house staff development program.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or having completed a minimum of 24 hours of engineering coursework toward a BS in Civil Engineering. Accepted into or planning to apply for a graduate program in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
• Experience: Completion of a minimum of 24 hours of engineering coursework towards a BS in Civil Engineering. Consistent availability for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Skills: Sound technical background in engineering principles, strong verbal and written communication abilities, enthusiasm for the challenges of designing great structures.
• Bonus: Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
