Strategy & Operations Associate | NetApp

This is a full-time, hybrid role at NetApp. NetApp leads in intelligent data infrastructure, delivering unified storage, integrated data services, and solutions that help organizations unlock the full potential of their data, from AI to multicloud. This role is crucial for driving cross-functional strategic priorities, fostering operational excellence, and enabling faster, data-driven decision-making, particularly through the company’s AI@Work transformation. You will contribute to NetApp’s path to $10B by leveraging business rigor with AI-enabled execution.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategic Analysis: Evaluate business problems, quantify opportunities, and prioritize AI initiatives based on impact, feasibility, compliance, and strategic alignment.
• AI Transformation: Redesign business processes using AI, automation, and workflow transformation, building lightweight AI-enabled solutions to improve productivity.
• Executive Communications: Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leaders, creating compelling dashboards and executive updates.
• Program Management: Support cross-functional programs from strategy through execution by tracking milestones, managing stakeholder alignment, and driving accountability.
• AI Innovation: Continuously identify new ways to leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to increase the effectiveness of the Strategy & Operations team.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early-career professional with a strong academic background from a leading undergraduate or graduate program, demonstrating achievement in strategy, business operations, consulting, analytics, finance, or corporate strategy.
• Experience: 1-3 years in strategy, business operations, consulting, analytics, finance, corporate strategy, or a related field, with hands-on experience using AI tools to improve productivity, analysis, or decision-making. Proven ability to build lightweight AI agents, copilots, dashboards, and visualizations from various data sources.
• Skills: Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and structured problem-solving skills; ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights and executive-ready narratives; strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; and proficiency with AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot studio, ChatGPT, Claude Code, and Gemini Vertex.
• Bonus: Experience in management consulting, enterprise software, technology, business transformation, or high-growth operating environments. Exposure to workflow automation, low-code/no-code platforms, SQL, Python, or APIs. Demonstrated curiosity for emerging technologies and strong executive storytelling skills.
