What You’ll Actually Do
• Budgeting & Planning: Manage annual budgeting and periodic forecasting, aligning financial plans with overall business objectives in collaboration with department leaders.
• Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial operating models to project company performance, evaluate new business opportunities, and conduct scenario analysis.
• Data Analysis: Analyze financial results and key performance indicators to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights for decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with multiple teams to gather relevant data, execute on ad-hoc requests, and ensure business objectives align with broader financial goals.
• Executive Reporting: Prepare high-quality materials for quarterly Board and investor reporting, synthesizing key business insights with executive-level storytelling.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in a private equity or venture capital firm and at least 3+ years in a strategic finance or FP&A role at a growth-stage company.
• Skills: Strong financial modeling and Excel proficiency. Ability to translate complex financial data into clear business recommendations. Strong business partnership and communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
