What You’ll Actually Do
• Coordinate: Find and coordinate all aspects of daily TV news segments for Inside Edition.
• Secure: Secure interviews with newsmakers and gather essential information for stories.
• Research: Conduct thorough background research utilizing public records to inform segments.
• Pre-interview: Conduct pre-interviews with potential subjects to evaluate story angles and content.
• Collaborate: Work closely with producers to develop and bring news segments to fruition.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professionals with a passion for local and national news, holding some prior reporting experience in television or print, and ideally a B.S. or B.A. Degree or equivalent.
• Experience: Some prior reporting experience in television or print.
• Skills: Exemplary research abilities, strong phone communication, effective interpersonal skills, proficient written communication, command of technology and social media, and adaptability to travel and irregular work hours including nights and weekends as necessary.
• Bonus: Previous booking experience in television or media, and a working knowledge of government, courts, law enforcement, and FOIA processes.
