Startup Intern Program | Venture Starters

The Tone:
This is a non-paid, remote internship at Venture Starters. Venture Starters is a public service platform and community dedicated to supporting startups in solving global problems by connecting them with aspiring interns and investors. This role offers an insider’s view of the startup ecosystem, providing genuine exposure to founders and investors without requiring participants to quit school or their current job, helping them understand startup formation and investment criteria.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Attendance: Attend eight (8) Venture Starters Free Pitch Zoom meetings.
• Observation: Observe startup founders pitching their real companies and interacting with investors.
• Learning: Learn about investor criteria, insights, and the process of early-stage teams forming.
• Engagement: Optionally engage with the community and identify startups that might interest you for a separate internship opportunity.
• Insight: Gain a front-row seat to the journey from ideas to funded startups.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Interest in startups, entrepreneurship, or venture capital.
• Experience: Ability to attend a 2-hour Zoom session.
• Skills: Strong observation skills, comfort working independently, comfortable with remote collaboration.
• Bonus: Experience with events or communities is a plus.
