What You’ll Actually Do
• Compliance: Support the preparation of U.S. federal income tax returns, related foreign information reporting, estimated tax payments, and extensions.
• Analysis: Compile, reconcile, and analyze financial accounting data, preparing well-documented workpapers and assisting with book-to-tax adjustments and taxable income calculations.
• Coordination: Coordinate information provided to external tax service providers, track deliverables, and assist with reviewing work products for completeness and accuracy.
• Provision: Assist with quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations.
• Examinations: Gather and organize information for federal income tax examinations and assist in responding to information requests.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level role requiring a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: No specific years required, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Coursework or experience in corporate taxation is a plus.
• Skills: Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, coupled with detail-oriented organization and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are also essential, along with a collaborative mindset.
• Bonus: Interest in pursuing the CPA designation or CPA eligibility is a plus, as is knowledge of or a willingness to explore artificial intelligence, tax technology, data analytics tools, and process automation to improve efficiency.
