The TL;DR

• Location: Western Region
• Pay: $30–$33 hourly
• Mission: Contribute to accurate financial reporting and client deliverables by performing essential tax and review procedures and understanding client operations.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Procedure Execution: Perform tax or review procedures and provide assistance on other assigned projects.
• Client Business Acumen: Develop an understanding of the client’s business, industry, and their accounting and control systems.
• Tax Methodology Application: Gain a comprehensive understanding of the Firm’s established tax approach.
• Internal Control Assessment: Assess client-related risks and evaluate their internal control structure.
• Financial Reporting Support: Review or assist in the drafting of financial statements and other client deliverables.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level professional with a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in accounting or a related field.
• Experience: No prior professional experience explicitly required for this entry-level role.
• Skills: Foundational accounting principles, analytical abilities for understanding client systems and assessing risks, and attention to detail necessary for financial statement review and drafting.
• Bonus: Must be CPA eligible or actively working towards obtaining eligibility to take the applicable state CPA exam.
