• Mission: Prepare accurate workpapers and perform audit procedures to support client engagements in public accounting, ensuring quality and adherence to firm standards.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare: Prepare accurate workpapers for accounting and audit engagements.
• Perform: Perform audit procedures for assigned accounts and transactions.
• Assist: Assist with the preparation of financial statements and related notes.
• Research: Research accounting and auditing issues as assigned.
• Communicate: Communicate engagement status, questions, and issues to the In-Charge.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree with an accounting concentration or equivalent, eligible to sit for the CPA exam, with basic knowledge of accounting and auditing principles.
• Experience: Early-career professional with no specific years required, looking to build experience in public accounting, audit, and financial reporting.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently as experience progresses, and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Bonus: Master’s degree in Accounting, an accounting internship, one or more years of related public accounting experience, or GovCon experience.
