AP/AR Accountant | Cleveland Construction, Inc.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Subcontractor Payments: Process and manage subcontractor draws, including lien and sworn statement waivers, to ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Vendor Management: Collect W-9 forms and banking information from vendors for electronic payments.
• Invoice Resolution: Research and resolve discrepancies with past-due invoices by collaborating with operations for necessary approvals.
• Payroll Processing: Validate hours, deductions, and accurately process payroll while coordinating with operations to meet deadlines.
• New Hire Documentation: Review new hire packets for completeness and accuracy, including completing I-9 forms and E-Verify processes.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Foundational knowledge in accounting principles relevant to construction or similar industries.
• Experience: Prior experience in the construction industry or a related field.
• Skills: Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills; Proficient with Microsoft software products and ability to learn new software; Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently; Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
