• Team: Works closely on an engagement team made up of other Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners, serving diverse industries including Consumer & Industrial, Financial Sponsors & Financial Services, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Public Sector, Real Estate, Renewable Energy, Technology & Media, and Private Client Services.
• Mission: To become familiar with current tax theories and laws, performing procedures accurately and thoroughly in accordance with firm standards.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare Tax Returns: Work on a variety of client deliverables including the preparation of individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns.
• Identify Tax Issues: Identify potential tax issues and prepare tax adjusting entries and tax trial balances based on audited or client-provided trial balances.
• Conduct Research: Research filing requirements and tax issues utilizing internal revenue code, treasury regulations, and other relevant authorities or guidance.
• Manage Workflow: Manage daily client workflow and multiple client projects concurrently.
• Draft Memorandums: Draft tax technical memorandums as required.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, suitable for an entry-level position.
• Experience: Must plan to complete 150 credit hours by September 2027 for CPA licensure, with a minimum GPA of 3.2 in both major and overall coursework. Prior work or internship experience is also beneficial.
• Skills: Exhibit excellent communication skills, demonstrate sharp critical thinking, possess advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and be comfortable navigating fast-paced environments while embracing change.
• Bonus: Leadership positions in extracurricular activities are preferred.
