• Mission: This role ensures financial accuracy through journal entry processing, account analysis, statement preparation, and budget variance review for BILH entities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Statement Preparation: Prepares monthly financial statements for entities, including Balance Sheet, Statement of Operations, Accounts Receivable Statement, Cash Forecast, Variance Analysis, and Account Analysis.
• General Ledger Management: Prepares journal entries and accruals to ensure the General Ledger reflects annual operations in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Financial Analysis: Investigates variances from budget on assigned operating accounts and performs detailed analysis of activity in various General Ledger accounts, including bank accounts and accounts receivable aged trial balances.
• Audit & Tax Support: Assists with the preparation of support schedules used by external auditors during the year-end audit and helps prepare supporting schedules utilized by the tax department.
• Operational Accounting: Assists with reconciliation of physical inventories, from count to General Ledger, determines reasons for differences, and reviews vendor invoice coding to make necessary accounting adjustments.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Associates Degree in Accounting or Finance; or a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: 0-2 years of related work experience.
• Skills: Advanced skills with Microsoft applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access, and the ability to produce complex documents, perform analysis, and maintain databases.
• Bonus: Working knowledge of Workday Financial Accounting Systems.
