The company is seeking an early-career accounting professional to develop a broad understanding of business operations and accounting principles. This position is crucial for building a strong foundational knowledge of how financial transactions flow through an organization, ultimately impacting the general ledger. The role offers a clear development path toward becoming a Senior Accountant within the company.

• Mission: This person will learn the full transaction cycle of the organization, progressing from operational and accounting functions to traditional general ledger responsibilities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operational Rotation: Rotate through key operational and accounting functions to understand the full transaction cycle.
• Transaction Flow Analysis: Learn how sales, shipping, receiving, inventory, accounts receivable, and accounts payable impact the general ledger.
• Financial Review: Review trial balance and general ledger activity to ensure accuracy.
• Reconciliation & Journaling: Prepare account and bank reconciliations, along with processing journal entries and adjustments.
• Business Acumen Development: Develop an understanding of the business and operations behind the financial numbers.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position requiring a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or currently completing an Accounting degree.
• Experience: Open to recent graduates with little or no professional accounting experience.
• Skills: Basic understanding of accounting principles, strong learning aptitude, willingness to learn the business from the ground up, and a team-oriented approach.
