• Mission: This individual will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions and reporting through support of month-end close and accounts payable processes.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Month-End Close Support: Contribute to the timely and accurate completion of the month-end close cycle, including the preparation of journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Accounts Payable Management: Process accounts payable, handling invoice coding, routing for approvals, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
• Financial Reconciliations: Perform comprehensive monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and various balance sheet accounts to ensure data integrity.
• Financial Statement Assistance: Aid in the preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting schedules for management review and internal reporting.
• General Ledger Accuracy: Maintain precise and up-to-date general ledger records across assigned entities to ensure overall financial accuracy.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, demonstrating a foundational understanding of accounting principles. This is an early-career role requiring working knowledge of GAAP fundamentals.
• Experience: 1–3 years of dedicated accounting experience, providing practical exposure to financial operations and transactional processing.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting, familiarity with standard accounting software packages, strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Good written and verbal communication skills are also essential.
• Bonus: Previous exposure to accounts payable and month-end close processes would be a significant advantage.
