Staff Accountant | CFS

This is a full-time Staff Accountant role, located in Orlando, FL, fully onsite. • Mission: Maintain accurate general ledger records and support financial reporting for a large portfolio of operating locations, while developing core accounting skills within a structured environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lease Review: Review lease agreements and property contracts to accurately track recurring expenses, remittances, and ownership information.
• Landlord Communication: Communicate professionally with landlords to resolve account activity, documentation, and payment-related inquiries.
• Payment Reconciliation: Reconcile payments and diligently maintain accurate general ledger records across a portfolio of 300–400 locations.
• Transaction Processing: Process accounts receivable and expense transactions to ensure accurate profit and loss reporting.
• Financial Assistance: Assist with journal entries, account analysis, financial comparisons, and documentation review.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals eager to build a successful accounting career within a corporate setting.
• Experience: 1+ year of accounting experience, including internship experience or other relevant accounting exposure, is preferred.
• Skills: Strong Excel proficiency, specifically including VLOOKUPs, coupled with excellent analytical and organizational abilities.
• Bonus: Candidates who are curious, organized, and eager to learn within a fast-paced corporate accounting environment. This includes individuals who enjoy working with financial data, reviewing contracts, solving discrepancies, and managing multiple priorities proactively.
