What You’ll Actually Do
• Lease Management: Review the setup and maintain lease agreements within Yardi to ensure complete and timely recognition of revenue over the life of each agreement.
• Rent Scheduling: Create, update, and maintain rent schedules according to the legal terms outlined in the lease agreements.
• Expense Recovery Setup: Configure operating expense recovery schedules to accommodate the specific requirements of each agreement.
• Document Interpretation: Read and comprehend lease agreements along with all other related legal documents to ensure accurate data entry and accounting.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze and reconcile income statement and balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis, including assisting with bad debt review and determinations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required for this entry-level career position.
• Experience: 0-3 years of accounting experience.
• Skills: US GAAP compliance, financial reporting, account reconciliation, lease document analysis, Yardi platform proficiency.
• Bonus: Previous internships are preferred.
