• Mission: Responsible for corporate accounting matters, month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and maintaining clear and consistent daily accounting operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Record Keeping & Reconciliation: Maintain detailed financial records for a portfolio of properties, meticulously tracking income, expenses, assets, and liabilities. This includes preparing journal entries and performing accurate bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Budgeting & Performance Analysis: Assist in developing annual budgets and monitor financial performance against these targets. Conduct financial analysis on property performance, cashflow, and capital expenditures, identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all applicable tax laws, financial regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Internal Controls & Asset Safeguarding: Maintain and enforce internal controls designed to safeguard company assets and ensure adherence to established accounting standards and policies.
• Team Collaboration & Project Support: Collaborate with on-site personnel and other team members to provide support and resolve financial issues or discrepancies. Additionally, assist with annual audits and support various ad-hoc projects.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and commercial accounting software.
