Staff Accountant | SRC

What You’ll Actually Do
• Billing Operations: Produce accurate billing invoices for both commercial and government customers.
• Accounts Payable Support: Provide backup and assistance to the accounts payable function as needed.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• General Accounting: Perform various other general accounting activities and complete analytical processes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, suitable for an early career professional.
• Experience: 0+ years of related accounting experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is essential, particularly advanced skills in Excel.
• Skills: The ability to work independently, strong problem-solving capabilities, excellent communication skills for internal and external interactions, a positive customer service orientation, and meticulous attention to detail are required.
• Bonus: Preferred qualifications include an MBA, CPA, or CMA certification. Candidates with public accounting experience, prior experience in government billing, or exposure to the Deltek Costpoint accounting system will stand out.
