Staff Accountant | Enterprise Mobility

The Tone:
This is a full-time Staff Accountant role at Enterprise Mobility, located in Pittsburgh, PA. What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate financial statements and contribute to overall financial reporting processes.
• Core Accounting Functions: Execute essential accounting procedures, including the assembly of bank reconciliations, creation of journal entries, and management of expense accruals and allocations.
• Financial Analysis & Compliance: Analyze fluctuations in income statements to identify trends, conduct branch audit evaluations, and ensure adherence to financial policies and regulatory compliance.
• Month-End Close Participation: Actively participate in the timely and accurate month-end closing process, ensuring all financial data is processed efficiently.
• Process Improvement & Support: Provide insightful ideas for process improvement and cost savings while assisting personnel with questions regarding accounting policies and procedures.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: Demonstrate intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including the effective use of Vlookups and pivot tables.
• Skills: Strong foundational understanding of accounting principles required to prepare financial statements, perform bank reconciliations, assemble journal entries, and conduct comprehensive financial analysis.
• Other Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations/at-fault accidents and no drug/alcohol related convictions in the past 3 years), be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future, and demonstrate flexibility to relocate outside the local area/state within 1-3 years for potential promotional opportunities.
• Bonus: Completion of CPA or CMA certification.
