The Staff Accountant maintains accurate financial records, prepares essential financial reports, and ensures strict compliance with all accounting standards. This role is crucial for the company’s operational efficiency and financial health, enabling professionals to operate safely and efficiently.

• Mission: Owns maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare Financial Statements: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
• Support Financial Closings: Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Manage Cash Operations: Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
• Handle Transactions: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Conduct Financial Analysis: Prepare and analyze budgets and forecasts.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience: Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar); advanced Excel skills for data analysis and financial modeling; excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Bonus: CPA certification.
