What You’ll Actually Do
• Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Reconciliations: Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank activity, and supporting schedules to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Transaction Review: Review banking transactions and account activity to ensure entries are recorded correctly and completely.
• Accounts Payable Support: Support accounts payable processing by verifying documentation, coding expenses, and assisting with payment-related records.
• Billing Assistance: Assist with billing activities and monitor open balances to help maintain accurate customer account status.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Core domain knowledge in general ledger accuracy, account reconciliations, and familiarity with accounts payable and billing processes.
• Experience: Experience performing journal entries and maintaining general ledger accuracy. Hands-on experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP system.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, strong Microsoft Excel skills, working knowledge of account reconciliations, and the ability to interpret financial records accurately.
