• Mission: This person will ensure accurate financial reporting, participate in monthly and quarterly closing processes, and assist with SEC filings for a global entity with multiple subsidiaries.
• Tech Stack: Excel, Microsoft Office package (preferred), SAP (preferred)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting: Prepare financial statements and various financial reports.
• Closing Process: Participate in different aspects of the monthly and quarterly closing process, including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
• SEC Filings: Assist in the preparation and timely filing of reports required with the SEC, such as 10-Q, 10-K, and other filings, by producing clear and organized work papers.
• Consolidation: Participate in the consolidation process of multiple subsidiaries, which includes managing intercompany reconciliations and foreign currency accounting.
• Audits: Conduct financial audits and provide assistance with year-end audits.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field of study. This is a staff-level accounting role.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting. Minimum 1 year of experience in reading and analyzing financial reports.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel. Understanding of US tax regulations.
• Bonus: Preferred experience with Microsoft Office package and SAP.
