What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Accountability: Apply principles of accounting and statistical analysis to maintain control and accountability in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Account Management: Monitor and maintain control of various general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and analyses that accurately reflect the organization’s financial status and activities.
• Record Keeping: Prepare precise journal entries to document financial transactions and adjustments.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: At least one year of accounting experience is preferred if holding a relevant degree, or required if the degree is not in Accounting or Finance.
• Skills: Strong oral, written, and organizational communication abilities, keen attention to detail and accuracy, and intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Bonus: A strong understanding of basic accounting principles, the ability to collaborate across departments with varying levels of management, and the capacity to maintain confidentiality.
