• Team: Reports to Stadium Operations Manager
• Mission: To assist in the daily operation, maintenance, and event preparation of a 5,000-seat ballpark, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for games and outside events.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Facility Preparation: Assist in preparing the facility for Frederick Keys home games and other assigned outside events.
• Daily Maintenance: Aid in the ongoing daily operation and general upkeep of the 5,000-seat ballpark.
• Event Support: Provide assistance with the comprehensive set-up and break down of non-game events held at the stadium.
• Inventory Management: Support the organization and inventory processes for operational storage spaces and learn about ordering supplies.
• Operations Oversight: Work with the operations team to ensure the ballpark functions in a safe and efficient manner, including learning about and assisting with winterization procedures for Nymeo Field.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Current university sophomores, juniors, seniors, or graduate students pursuing academic credit in Sport Management, Facility Management, or related fields.
• Experience: Practical experience with the safe operation of small engine equipment, such as leaf blowers and string trimmers.
• Skills: Organized and capable of completing tasks in a timely manner, with the physical ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and remain on foot for extended periods.
