2027 Sales & Operations Development Program (Starting June 2027) | Rexel Southern
The Tone:
This is a 12-month accelerated development program at Rexel Southern, located in Denver, CO. Rexel USA is a large distributor of electrical products, data communication, and related supplies across the United States, operating through various banners and a wide distribution network. This program offers a fast-tracked opportunity for associates to gain broad exposure within the electrical distribution industry, developing essential commercial, operational, and leadership skills early in their careers. Participants will make an impact from day one by exploring career paths aligned with their strengths and interests.
The TL;DR
• Role: Development Program Associate
• Type: Full-time
• Location: In-person Denver, CO
• Pay: $26.44–$30.00 hourly
• Mission: Develop commercial, operational, and leadership skills to make an impact within the electrical distribution industry.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Warehouse & Logistics: Manage full-cycle supply chain processes including order fulfillment, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping of materials.
• Sales: Develop skills in counter, inside, and outside sales, focusing on customer service, product knowledge, and selling techniques.
• Operations: Analyze business drivers that influence safety, profitability, facility maintenance, inventory, working capital, and customer service to support sound business decisions.
• Project Management: Coordinate customer, sales, and vendor relationships, place orders, track shipments, manage billing, and prepare project quotations.
• Elective Rotations: Customize the program experience through elective rotations based on individual interests, career goals, or local business opportunities, such as Product Specialist roles.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High School or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred, specifically in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: 0-1 years of experience in a service, business, or sales-oriented role for external candidates, or less than 12 months of experience with Rexel for internal candidates.
• Skills: Ambitious, curious, and collaborative self-starter with abilities in problem-solving, building relationships, teamwork, professionalism, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Bonus: Minimum 3.0 GPA upon graduation with a bachelor’s degree, relevant internship/co-op experience, and an openness to relocation.
