2027 Sales & Operations Development Program (Starting June 2027) | Rexel Southern
The Tone:
This is a full-time development program at Rexel Southern, located in Denver, CO. Rexel USA is a major distributor of electrical products, data communication, and related supplies across the United States. This program is critical as it offers a fast-tracked opportunity for new professionals to gain broad exposure, develop essential commercial, operational, and leadership skills, and contribute directly to the company’s business from day one.
The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Full-time
• Location: In-person – Denver, CO
• Pay: $26.44–$30 hourly
• Mission: To provide early-career professionals with broad exposure to the Electrical Distribution industry and develop commercial, operational, and leadership skills needed to make an impact.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Warehouse & Logistics: Learn the full-cycle supply chain processes behind storing and moving materials, including order fulfillment, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping.
• Sales: Gain experience in counter, inside, and outside sales, building customer service, product knowledge, selling, and digital tool skills.
• Operations: Understand the business drivers that influence safety, profitability, facility maintenance, inventory, working capital, and customer service, using data and tools.
• Project Management: Manage customer, sales, and vendor relationships, place orders, track shipments, coordinate billing, and prepare project quotations.
• Elective Rotations: Tailor experience through elective rotations based on individual interests, career goals, and local business opportunities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High School or GED required. This is an entry-level program. Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: For external candidates, 0-1 years in a service, business, or sales-oriented role. For internal candidates, less than 12 months of experience with Rexel and in good performance standing.
• Skills: Professionalism, leadership skills, communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to solve problems, build relationships, and work as part of a team.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s degree (with a minimum 3.0 GPA upon graduation if applicable), relevant internship/co-op experience, equivalent military or industry-related experience, or openness to relocation.
