Senior Client Engagement Manager | Microchip Technology

The Tone:
This is a full-time role within a global team environment at Microchip Technology, requiring local travel within an assigned territory. The company designs the semiconductor technology that powers the world around us, and this role is crucial for identifying and building new business relationships. You will be responsible for driving design wins to revenue by co-creating value and empowering clients to innovate with Microchip’s solutions.

• Mission: Identify and build new business, drive design wins, and deliver solutions that empower client innovation.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Identify and build new business, reframing client thinking to build consensus for Microchip’s solutions.
• Drive design wins to revenue at select target clients using Microchip’s Client Engagement Process.
• Teach customers about their industry and offer unique perspectives on their business that link back to Microchip‘s solutions.
• Identify key client stakeholders and coach them to build consensus for Microchip’s solutions within their organization.
• Contribute to a global team environment to develop and implement sales strategies across clients’ divisions and geographical locations.
• Communicate effectively with Microchip product divisions, providing quantifiable feedback and ROI for their investments in clients.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in a business or engineering discipline with a strong academic track record.
• Experience: 8+ years of relevant work experience.
• Skills: Strategic/Critical Thinking, Communication (strong verbal/written, presentation skills), Interpersonal Influence, Networking, Ownership (independent, self-directed, takes initiative), Workflow Management (sets clear objectives), ability to travel locally in assigned territory.
• Bonus: Previous experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred.
