SPS Customer Service Specialist Hungary (8-month fixed-term) | Syngenta
The Tone:
This is an 8-month fixed-term role at Syngenta, located in Hungary with a hybrid work model. Syngenta Crop Protection develops pioneering solutions to ensure global food security through sustainable agriculture. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be a key representative of Syngenta to customers, managing the order-to-cash process and ensuring outstanding service to support sales targets. This role is crucial for strengthening Syngenta’s reputation as a preferred supplier and contributing to operational excellence.

• Mission: Manage the extended Order-to-cash process for SPS customers, delivering outstanding customer experience and operational excellence to support sales targets.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Engagement: Maintain regular communication and build relationships with customers, distributors, and other external partners.
• Order Management: Execute the complete Order-to-Cash process, including receiving orders, checking availability, arranging deliveries, and issuing invoices.
• Inventory & Compliance: Ensure efficient inventory management by monitoring channel stock, conducting regular reconciliations, and managing EKAER reporting.
• Sales & Project Support: Cooperate with the Sales team to monitor distributor performance, manage stock returns, and contribute to SPS projects.
• Process Improvement: Proactively identify areas for continuous improvement within customer service operations, including timely reporting and processing of customer complaints.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Experience: Demonstrated aptitude for working with IT tools, specifically SAP and MS Office, and a strong understanding of key customer requirements.
• Skills: Fluent in both English and Hungarian languages, possess strong verbal and written communication abilities, and exhibit robust teamwork and collaboration capabilities.
