The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Location: Remote – USA
• Pay: $152066–$223031 yearly
• Team: Lumen Transformation Office (LTO) Orchestration team, reporting to the VP, LTO – Modernization
• Mission: This person operates as a leader, shaping priorities, structuring complex problems, and driving executive-level alignment and execution across Lumen’s transformation agenda.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategy Translation: Translate leadership priorities into clear problem statements, workplans, and decision frameworks.
• Problem Structuring: Structure complex, ambiguous challenges into actionable insights and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Executive Engagement: Engage directly with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), SVPs, and VPs, acting as a thought partner to drive better outcomes.
• Decision Driving: Build high-quality executive materials and deliver impactful presentations that lead to critical decisions and alignment.
• Execution Leadership: Drive alignment and maintain momentum across initiatives, stepping in to push work over the line and ensuring accountability.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Director. Core domain knowledge in strategy, transformation, business operations, or executive-level support roles.
• Experience: 8–12+ years of experience in strategy, transformation, business operations, or executive-level support roles. Proven ability to operate at the SLT, SVP, and VP level with confidence and credibility.
• Skills: Strong strategic thinking and structured problem-solving. Executive presence with the ability to influence, challenge, and coach senior leaders. Exceptional ability to build clear, compelling, and executive-ready presentations. Bias for action, sound judgment, and willingness to make decisions in ambiguous environments. Strong accountability mindset with high attention to detail and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
• Bonus: Experience in the telecommunications and/or cloud domains.
