Job Description
Spring Internship – State Government Affairs (SGA) South
Location: Austin, Texas
Duration: Approximately 20 weeks, between January and May 2025
Responsibilities:
• Provide support to the State Government Affairs (SGA) South team, focusing on business operations, office functionality, and state and local regulatory and legislative activities.
• Assist the SGA team with legislative electronic bill-tracking and analysis in multiple states.
• Monitor legislative committee and regulatory hearing schedules.
• Attend and report on legislative committee action.
• Provide administrative or research support for Constellation’s business development opportunities.
• Interface with Constellation SGA, contractors, and other Constellation personnel.
• Support Constellation-sponsored events for elected officials and staff.
Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, or graduated within the past 6 months.
• Minimum GPA: Cumulative 2.8/Major 3.0.
• Outstanding academic performance.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to think creatively and analytically to solve problems.
• Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work permanently in the United States.

Note:
• This position is in-person based in Austin, TX.
• The internship will report directly to the Manager, State Government Affairs South.
