What’s This Internship All About?

As a Sports Management Intern, you will gain hands-on experience working directly with our talented and knowledgeable team. You will assist with day-to-day league operations, including customer service, partner relations, and data management.

Job Description: Sports Operations

As a Sports Management Intern, you will be integral to the smooth operation of our leagues and events. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with game reports, customer service inquiries, scheduling, and data entry.
  • Supporting league audits and evaluations.
  • Providing administrative and clerical support for all departments.
  • Making sales calls to team captains to inform them of upcoming events and registration deadlines.
  • Managing inventory and upkeep of sports equipment and shirts.
  • Providing facility and field maintenance as needed; suggesting venue improvements.
  • Handling other league-day preparations, such as field setup and supervision.
  • Setting up and taking down fields and/or bar setups.
  • Using the host app to check in players as needed.
  • Executing fundraising activities to support kids’ programs.
  • Encouraging and maintaining a high-quality experience throughout the league.
  • Making players meet and feel welcome.

  • Customer-Centric: Comfortable interacting with all types of clients and decision-makers, prioritizing customer needs to solve problems effectively.
  • Team Player & Independent: Works well in a team atmosphere, but also thrives with low supervision/direction.
  • Self-Reliant & Eager: Enthusiastic about taking on any task, regardless of its size.
  • Strong Customer Service Skills: Dedicated to providing excellent service.
  • Academic Status: Currently enrolled in college or a recent graduate.
  • Professional & Energetic: Punctual and professional, embracing a “work hard, play hard” attitude.
