• Team: Works within educational programs, reporting to a Supervisor and collaborating with various CAIU, school district, and agency personnel.
• Mission: To meet the instructional needs of eligible children and students through compliant, individualized educational programs and positive behavior supports.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Management: Perform data collection, progress monitoring, and comprehensive assessments of student educational levels for progress reports, evaluation meetings, and Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning meetings.
• IEP Facilitation: Lead, facilitate, or participate in IEP planning meetings to prepare educational programs that address student needs for specially designed instruction, ensuring compliance with Federal and State Regulations.
• Instructional Delivery: Provide individual and appropriate instruction to students utilizing CAIU Board approved Curricula and positive behavior supports to promote academic, social, and emotional development.
• Staff Supervision: Plan for, assign, and direct the activities of designated educational paraprofessional(s) and/or personal care assistant(s), and evaluate their performance as required by the CAIU.
• Compliance and Record Keeping: Complete and maintain all required record keeping, schedules, and lesson plans in accordance with program procedures, Federal and State regulations, and CAIU policies.

• Background: Bachelor’s Degree, serving as a foundational qualification for this professional teaching position.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability in data collection, progress monitoring, student assessment, and facilitating or participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
• Skills: Proficient in instructional planning and delivery, implementing positive behavior supports, maintaining comprehensive records, collaborating with diverse personnel, and adhering to educational regulations.
