Job Title: Solutions Design & Simulation Engineer

About the Role:

The purpose of this pivotal role is to drive innovation and technical excellence by designing, developing, and troubleshooting advanced solutions, designs, models, and simulations. Leveraging expertise across various software platforms, the Solutions Design & Simulation Engineer will be instrumental in meeting complex client and project requirements, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Solution Design & Development:
    • Design and develop robust solutions precisely tailored to client specifications and project objectives.
    • Utilize advanced engineering softwares, including but not limited to CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering), to create accurate and appropriate models in alignment with project plans and customer requirements.
    • Rigorously test prototypes and designs produced on the software, meticulously checking all critical boundary conditions such as impact analysis and stress analysis.
    • Produce comprehensive technical specifications and determine operational feasibility by seamlessly integrating software components into fully functional software systems.
    • Create detailed prototypes based on engineering drawings and prepare comprehensive CAD models.
    • Perform thorough Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for any new requirements received from clients, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.
    • Provide highly optimized solutions to clients by running in-depth simulations within virtual environments.
    • Ensure all deployed software is updated with the latest features and functionalities to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness for the client.
    • Continuously enhance applications and solutions by identifying opportunities for improvement, making strategic recommendations, and designing and implementing new systems.
    • Strictly follow industry standard operating procedures for various processes and systems as per client requirements while modeling and developing solutions on software.
  2. Customer Support & Problem Solving:
    • Provide timely and effective defect fixing for issues raised by clients or the software integration team, efficiently resolving support tickets.
    • Develop robust software verification plans and quality assurance procedures to ensure product reliability and customer satisfaction.
    • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems with minimum latency and maximum efficiency.
    • Successfully deploy programs and evaluate user feedback to ensure adequate resolution and achieve high customer satisfaction.
    • Ensure full compliance with project plans and industry standards across all support and problem-solving activities.
  3. Reporting & Documentation:
    • Generate comprehensive weekly and monthly status reports for clients, adhering to their specific reporting requirements.
    • Maintain meticulous documentation and create a centralized repository for all design changes, recommendations, and project history.
    • Accurately maintain time-sheets for all client projects.
    • Provide thorough written knowledge transfer and project history to relevant stakeholders, ensuring continuity and institutional knowledge.

    • Demonstrated adherence to project plan/schedule.
    • Achieve 100% error-free onboarding & implementation of solutions.
    • Maintain a high throughput % for design and development tasks.
  2. Quality & Client Satisfaction (CSAT):
    • Consistent On-Time Delivery of projects and tasks.
    • Maintain minimum corrections and strive for a first-time right approach.
    • Ensure no major defects post-production.
    • Achieve 100% compliance of bi-directional traceability matrix.
    • Proactive completion of assigned certifications for skill upgradation.
  3. Management Information Systems (MIS) & Reporting:
    • Ensure 100% on-time MIS & report generation.
