Job Description

Overview:

Join Anomali for a distinctive, 12 to 14-week paid, on-site Software Engineering Internship. This program is designed as a journey for personal and professional growth, offering a unique opportunity for students to apply their academic learning in a dynamic professional environment.

At Anomali, we specialize in Security Analytics, empowering organizations to detect and respond to threats more swiftly and effectively. We are actively seeking a highly technical and innovative backend engineer intern. Qualifications

Required Skills / Experience:

• Currently majoring in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
• Proficiency in programming with Python, Java, C/C++, or other modern Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) languages used for scalable distributed system backend development.
• Demonstrated creativity, innovation, and unlimited thinking. Please include experience that highlights this, showcasing how you can contribute to being on the cutting edge tomorrow.
• Prior participation in coding competitions (e.g., Codeforces, USACO Platinum, ICPC) is highly regarded.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).

Preferred Skills / Experience:

• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Apache Spark.
• Interest in Generative AI (GenAI) is a bonus.

Work Environment:

• This is a hybrid opportunity at our Redwood City, CA office location.

Compensation

• Part-Time/Hourly Rate: $25/hour
