Job Description: Software Engineering Intern

Intel is seeking Software Engineering interns for Summer 2025 and Fall 2025. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of open and secure software platforms, driving industry standards, and ensuring software remains a competitive advantage for Intel’s products. Interns will be involved in various aspects of software engineering, including:

Contributing to the infrastructure of tomorrow: Working on solutions for big data and intelligent devices, and helping propel the adoption of cloud computing.
Hands-on experience: Engaging in tasks such as code review, hardware design review for software engineering, high-level software design programming, and providing input on software architecture.
Skill development: Honing programming and scripting abilities, and developing expertise in software debug.
Exposure to a wide array of technical software skills: The internship provides a learning environment focused on fundamental software engineering principles.
Impactful work: Directly contributing to the software ecosystem that enables groundbreaking features and functions in Intel’s innovative products.

Code Review
Hardware Design Review for Software Engineering
High-Level Software Design Programming

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or pursuing a Master’s degree OR Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
• 3+ months of education or industry experience. (Experience can be a combination of coursework, projects, research, and prior job/internship experience).

The internship is compensated accordingly for an entry-level position. Relocation benefits may be available, depending on location and job specifics. The work model will be hybrid (on-site and remote), with specifics communicated during the offer process. The position is not available in Colorado.
