Job Description:

GE Vernova is seeking highly-organized interns interested in growing their technical and professional skills. Interns will contribute to substantial projects with real-world implications, gaining hands-on experience with software and digital technologies. The work will involve learning from industry experts and directly contributing to the development of Industrial Internet capabilities.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Software Engineering Power Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field, or a credentialed software accelerator program.
• Familiarity with Java, Python, or Go.
• Familiarity with NoSQL, SQL, and RDBMS.
• Minimum 3.0/4.0 GPA.
• Full-time commitment (40 hrs/wk) during the summer internship.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to work in the Bothell or Bellevue, WA office.

Desired Characteristics:
• Experience with Data Lake and Data Mesh concepts.
• Experience with Apache Ignite and Apache Camel.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
