Job Description: Software Engineering Intern
This internship offers the opportunity to contribute to Qualcomm’s cutting-edge software development efforts. As a Software Engineering Intern, you will work alongside world-class engineers to:
• Develop, implement, and maintain software for complex wireless devices.
• Innovate and push the boundaries of existing technologies.
• Establish new standards for future software solutions.

• Leveraging your computer science or engineering degree to make an immediate impact.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Available for 11-14 weeks during Summer 2025 (May-September) with a graduation date of December 2025 or later.
• 1+ years’ academic experience with programming languages C, C++ or Python.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Extensive programming experience in C/C++.
• Experience with object-oriented software design and development.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and networking protocols.
• Proficiency in multi-threaded programming.
• Experience with multi-core and multi-processor systems.
• Expertise in system performance optimization.
• Experience in complex software debugging.
• Knowledge of modeling concepts (e.g., discrete event simulation, polyglot programming).
• Knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., bridging, routing), especially in Linux.
• Candidates actively pursuing a degree with an anticipated graduation within the upcoming year (Dec 2025 to June 2026) are preferred.
