Job Description: Software Engineer Intern
This is a Summer 2026 Paid Internship, running from Mid-May to Mid-August. Please note that this internship is not eligible for relocation assistance, with local candidates preferred. Additionally, it is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B visa), including situations where a candidate might have temporary work authorization (e.g., CPT, OPT) but would require H-1B sponsorship within a few years to maintain employment eligibility.
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will join the IT Software Configuration team. This team’s primary focus is to create an improved developer experience for technologists across the enterprise by building automated tools and documentation that facilitate the adoption of next-generation technologies.
Things you will do:
• Enhance Python libraries based on user and community feedback.
• Build CI/CD pipelines to test, build, and deploy code.
• Create documentation for the community.
• Participate in team meetings and discussions centered around product development.
• Adhere to internal development best practices and the development lifecycle, including Testing, Code Reviews, CI/CD, Documentation, and Demos.
Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or an equivalent field.
• Development experience with languages such as Python or Java.
• Experience with Git.
• Basic Linux experience.
• Comfortable communicating with teams via showcases and demos.
