The Tone:
This is an internship at Tampa Bay Sun FC, located in Tampa Bay, Florida. Tampa Bay Sun FC is building a professional soccer team, fostering a vibrant community around the sport. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth daily operations of the team, guaranteeing that athletes and staff have their essential equipment promptly, and supporting various administrative and logistical needs. It’s an opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the competitive sports industry, with college credit eligibility and a stipend for hours worked beyond required academic credit hours.

• Mission: This person ensures athletes and staff have essential equipment and operational support for training sessions, match days, and team travel.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Assist sporting staff during team training sessions, general operations, and player appearances.
• Prepare: Help with the daily preparations and upkeep of the team’s training facility.
• Coordinate: Organize team schedules and away trips, ensuring optimal planning and alignment with team objectives.
• Facilitate: Assist with match day preparations and support processes for players and their families during games.
• Collaborate: Work in tandem with other departments within the Tampa Bay Sun FC organization and complete additional assigned tasks.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, specifically for students pursuing college credit. Must complete all safeguarding requirements mandated by the US Soccer Federation, United Soccer League, and the Tampa Bay Sun FC.
• Experience: Experience assisting with administrative and operational tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Skills: Effective communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a solutions-oriented approach. Strong teamwork and collaborative skills for brainstorming and execution.
• Bonus: Bilingual English/Spanish, preferred.
