Showroom Intern – Fall | PURPLE
The Tone:
This is an internship at PURPLE, located in Los Angeles, CA. PURPLE LA is actively seeking bright and enthusiastic individuals to join its Showroom team. This role provides an opportunity to gain valuable experience in Fashion & VIP PR, Business Development, and Operations, contributing directly to the daily functions and overall success of the showroom environment. The intern will play a key part in supporting the team with essential tasks that ensure smooth operations and effective client interaction.

• Mission: Support the Showroom team with essential daily operations, sample and collection management, and client interface tasks to facilitate business development and public relations initiatives.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Showroom Operations: Provide general support for front office and showroom tasks, including managing front desk coverage, greeting clients and visitors, and handling communications.
• Merchandising & Inventory: Manage showroom merchandising, handle office and showroom supply management, and process incoming/outgoing designer collections while maintaining accurate inventory and launch metrics.
• Sample Logistics: Support the organized trafficking of samples for both returns and send-outs, ensuring efficient flow and meticulous records.
• Content & Administrative Support: Create brand lookbooks and content for internal communications, assist with executive meeting preparations, and support other ad-hoc business projects.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student pursuing academic credit for an internship, demonstrating a genuine passion for Fashion & VIP PR, Business Development, and Operations.
• Experience: Commitment to working 2-3 days in-person per week (9AM-5PM), totaling a minimum of 15 hours, for an unpaid internship that provides academic credit. No prior experience is explicitly required for this role.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, self-driven work ethic, creativity, willingness to learn, proactive initiative, good written communication abilities, and a basic understanding of public relations.
• Bonus: Prior retail experience.
